The union represents the city's outside workers including waste collection and parks and rec staff.

WOODSTOCK - It is official that the City of Woodstock and CUPE Local 1146 have a new deal.

Yesterday, City Council ratified a collective agreement that spans from 2024 until 2026.

CUPE Local 1146 represents the City's outside workers. With the new deal, there will be a 3.9 percent raise this year, then a raise of 3.5 percent in both 2025 and 2026. Along with a raise, workers will have more inclusive bereavement allotments, an increase in their clothing allowances, and group benefits.

The previous deal expired at the end of 2023.
