Archiving at Home: Skills for Preserving your Historical Records
Do you have family records at home that are in need of organization or restoration? Most of us keep our personal or family records stored in boxes in the basement or attic. While this is common, it is not ideal. Join Liz Dommasch & Megan Lockhart, staff from Oxford County Archives, as they discuss ways to better preserve and store family records such as photographs, certificates, books and art to ensure they last for future generations. They will also discuss basic archival record repair and cleaning, and will be happy to answer specific questions about your family records.
