Day of Caring is a fantastic initiative that creates an opportunity for volunteers to make a real difference through the gift of time and hard work. This day is unique and it is about helping local nonprofits complete projects they otherwise wouldn’t have the resources or time to complete. It’s also about project planning, team building and community awareness. It’s about the added value that these projects bring to their already existing programs and services.

There are 13 projects that we will be completing at organizations across the County (Ingersoll, Tillsonburg and Woodstock). United Way brings together Organizations that are in need of help, and matches them up with volunteer groups who work hard to complete the work, and sponsors who help to cover the costs.
