Oxford OPP seized $6,000 worth of marijuana after stopping a car on the highway.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - A 27 year old man from Hamilton is facing drug trafficking charges after he was pulled over on the 401 in Oxford County.
OPP stopped the car near Oxford Road 29 in Blandford Blenheim Township on Sunday night. Police say they found about $6,000 worth of marijauna in the vehicle. Matthew Ross Young was arrested at the scene and he was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Young is also facing a number of traffic violations including driving with only a G1 novice license without an adult and driving while under suspension. He was also charged for not having insurance on his vehicle.
