Thousands took part in the second annual Pause for Love fundraiser - bringing in over $53,000.

Over $53,000 has been donated during a special mental health fundraiser.

A Pause for Love Fundraiser held their second annual event and Administrative Coordinator for the Town of Ingersoll's Parks and Rec Department Susan Wolfe says it was a huge success.

"A Pause for Love is a group of tattoo artists that have come together at the Ingersoll District Memorial Arena and they were doing it to support mental health in our community."

Thousands of people lined up to have a semi-colon or B-Love design inked onto their skin by volunteer artists.

Fusion Youth Activity and Technology Centre received $13,000 of the funds raised. Wolfe sends out a big thanks to A Pause of Love founders Ned and Lisa Burwell.

"Fusion will be using that money in our well loved music program; this is one where Fusion members have access to one-on-one music lessons, an open jam session, and a state of the art recording studio."

The Talbot Teen Centre, Oxford-Elgin Child and Youth Centre, and the CMHA also received funds.
