Somerville has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.  Somerville was taken into custody waiting for a bail hearing.

In Norwich, between Friday and Sunday, police responded to three separate reports of break and enters in the town.  The first happened on Carmen Street between 10:00 am June 6th and 12:00 am June 7th.  Culprits made off an Xbox console and games, a laptop and concrete saw.  The items were worth roughly $2500.

Between 6:00 and 10:30 pm on Saturday, thieves made off with a 16GB iPhone, Armani men's watch and a set of keys from a home on Stover Street.  That same day, a residence on Main Street was broken into between 4:00 and 5:30 pm.  An iMac desktop computer, 17 inch computer screen, Toshiba laptop an jewerllery were taken from the home.  The value of the items is approximately $4000.

Anyone with information on these break and enters is asked to call Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
