Dog Biting

Public Health looking for a German Shepherd type dog in the Woodstock area

WOODSTOCK - A dog biting incident in Woodstock has Public Health looking for the dog and its owner.

Officials say it happened between 1 and 1:30 Friday afternoon on the northeast corner of Dundas Street and Graham Street.

The dog is described as bushy and long-haired, similar looking to a German Shepherd, with black, brown and beige markings. The dog was being walked on a leash by a female in her twenties with dark pink and purple hair who was accompanied by another woman. The women drove a black or navy blue SUV.

Public Health is asking the dog owner, or anyone else with information, to please contact public health as they require proof of vaccination to avoid a series of rabies shots for the person who was bit.

Please contact public health inspector Niels Dubé at 519-539-9800 extension 3421
