Donation Box Theft In Simcoe

Police are looking for a man after a poppy donation box was taken from Simcoe Tim Hortons

Norfolk OPP are investigating another theft of a donation box from a public location.

Police say on Monday around 12:00 am, a man walked into the Tim Hortons on Queensway East, Simcoe and removed a poppy donation box from the counter.  He entered the bathroom and then left the building.

The donation box and poppies were found in the bathroom however the funds were missing.

Police are looking for a white male, around 30 to 40 years old, 5'7 with a medium build.  At the time he was wearing a camouflage colour hat, blue jogging pants, dark blue sweater and white running shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norfolk OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Just last week, a pink ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness donation box was stolen from a different location in Simcoe.  An arrest was made in that case.
