Liftnow Limited Golf Tournament Supports CMHA Oxford

Liftnow Limited has raised over $10,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association of Oxford over the past 5 years.

WOODSTOCK - Liftnow Limited has raised over $10,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association of Oxford over the past 5 years.

Liftnow was able to raise the money at an annual golf tournament they host every June. This year's event brought in over $3,500. General Manager of Liftnow Limited Jamie Stephen explains why they want to give back to CMHA Oxford.

"We at Liftow recognize that all of us have family, friends or associates who are affected by mental health issues. The great work that CMHA does can be enhanced by donations such as ours to provide much needed resources. We encourage other businesses and individuals to contribute to this important agency."

This year's tournament was hosted at the Pine Knot Golf and Country Club in Dorchester. The tournament hosted 68 people, the largest crowd to date. It was coordinated by Julie Brennan and a special thanks goes out to Jason Newell, Chris McQueen, Liftow suppliers, staff at Pine Knot Golf & Country Club, and all the participants.

Funds from this event will go to support Oxford County Walk-In Counselling, a free service that is helping hundreds of people in Oxford County, and is funded by community donations.
