No Permission, No Hunting

Oxford OPP remind hunters a licence alone doesn't mean they have permission to enter private property.

OXFORD COUNTY - Ontario Provincial Police are reminding hunters to follow the rules this deer hunting season.

Oxford County is currently in a controlled hunt, running November 3 - November 9, with police checking proper paperwork and permission to be on the land.

Police remind hunters that a licence doesn't give them a right to be on private property without permission.

Circular markings in red mean absolutely no entry; those in yellow mean no entry without permission.

Anyone who violates this faces a fine up to $2, 000.

The next controlled hunt will be December 1 - December 7.
