OPP Briefs

OPP briefs include playground equipment vandalized at the Laurie Hawkins Public School, coins stolen from the car wash in EZT and a vehicle entry in Tillsonburg.

INGERSOLL - Police are investigating after some playground equipment was vandalized at the Laurie Hawkins Public School in Ingersoll. 

Several pieces of equipment were spray painted and broken sometime between Tuesday and Thursday of last week. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.

EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Several coins were stolen from a car wash on William Street South in East Zorra-Tavistock. 

Police say the coin machine inside a wash bay was broken into early Saturday morning. An unknown quantity of Canadian currency was removed at which time suspects fled from the area.

Anyone with information on this story is asked to contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.

TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are reminding residents to lock it or lose it after a vehicle entry in Tillsonburg. 

Police say someone stole a wallet from a vehicle parked on Jackson court over the weekend. The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock and secure their vehicle and to remove any valuables. If anyone observes suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

Members of the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
