OPP Investigate Three B&Es Within Hours of Each Other

The OPP are looking for information after three businesses in Oxford County were broken into in the span of a few hours.

The OPP are investigating after three break and enters in two hours.

The incidents happened early on the morning of Monday, February 22. The first call came at approximately 1:23 a.m. when the front door at Tilstra Plumbing on the 37th line in Zorra Township was forced open. A man entered and searched the main office but nothing was taken.

The second incident happened just over an hour later at 2:34 a.m. when the front door glass was smashed at Mister Safety Shoes in Ingersoll. Nothing was taken during this event either.

The third and final call came just under an hour later around 3:25 a.m. when the front glass door of Pioneer Cabinetry in South-West Oxford was smashed. A small amount of cash was taken from the office.

In all these incidents, OPP say they were alerted after the alarms went off and arrived within minutes of that call, however the suspects were already gone.

The OPP say these incidents may be linked to others that occurred the same night in different jurisdictions, but the investigation is still ongoing.

They are reminding residents to keep a sharp eye and report suspicious people or vehicles.
