Oxford OPP Briefs

Briefs include a Woodstock man charged with impaired driving after a crash sends two people to the hospital. A home being ransacked after a B&E on Ellen Street in Zorra Township and stunt driving on the 401 in Blandford-Blenheim.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - A 30 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with impaired driving after a crash in Zorra Township. 

Police say the man went into the ditch on the 37th near line Highway 2 on Friday night. Two of the people in the car were injured and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The 30 year old driver was arrested and charged with with impaired driving.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - A home in Zorra Township was ransacked after a break and enter on Saturday evening. 

Force was used to get into the home through the front door at the home on Ellen Street around supper time. Once inside a number of items were stolen, including several pieces of jewellery.

BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - A 41 year old from Kitchener will be walking for a bit after police caught them stunt driving on the 401 in Blandford-Blenheim Township. 

OPP say they caught the woman going at least 50 km/h over the posted speed limit on Saturday morning at 1:20. She was charged with stunt driving. Her licence was suspended and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
