Includes kids playing chicken with oncoming traffic and tossing stones at cars from the train overpass on Butler Street.

WOODSTOCK - It was a busy weekend for the Woodstock Police who responded to 120 calls for service.

On Friday morning police ended up charging a 19 year old man with racing after the man was caught doing 124km/hr ind a posted 60 km/hr zone on Dundas Street. The driver had his license suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was impounded.

Woodstock Police also had 9 calls of mischief in the Friendly City. They include someone damaging patio furniture and flower pots to a home on Munnoch Blvd. Another case had a rock tossed at the backboard of a basketball net, which broke the backboard. Police say an election sign was stolen from a home on Bayswater St. Meanwhile on Halifax Road somebody ripped off a porch swing and tossed it into a freshly poured concrete pad.

Then on Saturday police say someone caused $4,000 in damage to a vehicle parked in front of a downtown business. WPS also responded to a report of three kids tossing stones from the train overpass on Butler onto oncoming traffic. Police did track down the kids and issued them a warning. Another three kids were caught climbing on the roof of the Woodstock Collegiate Institute. On Sunday night police responded to a call of two 13 year olds playing chicken with cars in the area of Finkle and Main Street.
