Includes OPP are looking for information on the whereabouts of a man who forcibly entered a home in Brant County, and 2 have been arrested in Tillsonburg for drug possession

BRANT COUNTY - The Brant OPP are looking for information after a man tried to force his way into a home on Robinson Road.

Yesterday morning at 10:15 a.m. police received a call from a homeowner who said a man had tried to enter his home.

During the investigation police learned on Sunday around 9 p.m. the door bell rang. When the homeowner answer the door no one was outside. As the homeowner stood at the front door, a loud bang came from the back door of the home. 

The homeowner rushed back to discover a man standing outside the doorway. When the homeowner confronted the man, he fled to a vehicle parked on the driveway and left quickly.

The next day, when the homeowner discovered the rear door had been damaged in the attempt he called police.

Police are looking for a man described as:

White
5'8 to 5'10
mid 30s
average build
fair skin
clean shaven
wearing glasses with metal frames and a hat similar to a baseball cap

Anyone with information is asked to call police.

 

TILLSONBURG - 2 Tillsonburg residents have been arrested following an investigation that concluded with a drug warrant search of the property.

The search that was conducted on November 14th, was a joint effort between the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau - Drug Enforcement Unit, and Oxford County OPP.  A 47 year old man was charged with:

- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin 
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking  – Other Drugs 
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – Other Drugs (Two Counts)

The 36 year old female was charged with:

- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin 
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other Drugs 
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking  – Under 30 grams 
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance (Two Counts) 
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 (Two Counts) 

Following the search warrant scales, packaging material, and an estimated $3,000 in cannabis marihuana, heroin and Percocet tablets were seized.  Both parities appeared at a bail hearing in a Woodstock Courtroom.
