R.I.D.E. Check Lands London Youth Behind Bars

A routine R.I.D.E. check near London has landed a 17 year-old male in police custody. According to Middlesex OPP, the youth was stopped at Highbury Ave and Medway Road when police seized a small quantity of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Police also discovered an air soft replica handgun and a loaded .22 calibre revolver. A further search executed at the youth's residence recovered a stolen Browning rifle. The youth now faces 11 weapons and firearms offences as well as a number of drug charges.
