Rain and Mild Temperatures to Produce Mild Runoff

A combination of rain and mild temperatures over the next few days could produce some mild runoff in the region.

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is urging the pulbic to use caution around local waterways over the next few days.

Rain and warmer temperatures in the forecast on Sunday is expected to produce some minor runoff. The UTRCA does not anticipate any major flooding at this time.  e.

Residents are reminded to use extreme caution near all rivers, streams, ditches, ponds, and flood control reservoirs, and to keep children and pets away. Streambanks are slippery, the water is very cold, and ice may be unstable.
