Squalls Expected to Hammer London For A Second Day

The London region is bracing for another day of snowsqualls and zero visibility. By 10 p.m. Monday night, the London International Airport received a total of 26 cms. Squalls coming off of Lake Huron are continuing to cause zero visibility and accumulating snow for areas in Huron-Perth, London-Middlesex and parts of Elgin counties. Environment Canada are saying another 15 to 25 cms of snow could be possible for Huron County, London and eastern Lambton county areas. The squalls are expected to come to an end by this evening. OPP are reminding motorists to take extra precaution through those areas again today and if you must travel, to give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination.
