Suspicious Vehicle

A suspicious vehicle call lands two men with several charges

TILLSONBURG - A suspicious vehicle report has landed two men with several charges and helped OPP to recover stolen property.

It happened just before 5:20 Tuesday morning when residents spotted a vehicle with its engine on parked on Delevan Crescent in Tillsonburg. 
 
When OPP arrived they noticed two men sleeping inside.
 
After an investigation OPP also discovered the vehicle had been stolen from London back on Christmas Eve and also contained other stolen property.
 
As a result, two 43 year old men, one from Hamilton, the other from Norfolk County are facing several charges.

43 year old Kent Bartlett of Hamilton has been charged with the following:
 
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 ~ Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) 
Breach of Probation ~ CCC 
Possession of a Schedule II Substance – cannabis marihuana, under 30 grams ~ Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine ~ CDSA 
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine ~ CDSA
 
43 year old Jeremy Tumber of Norfolk County has been charged with the following:  
 
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 ~ Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) 
Breach of Probation  (4 counts) ~ CCC 
Possession of a Schedule II Substance – cannabis marihuana, under 30 grams ~ Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine ~ CDSA 
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine ~ CDSA
Both males are being held in custody.
