Toyota confirms it's reached a deal to settle hundreds of lawsuits over acceleration problems in its vehicles. The settlement is said to be worth more than a billion dollars but it must still be approved by a U-S judge. Toyota has recalled more than 14-million vehicles worldwide due to the problems. It blamed driver error, faulty floor mats and sticky accelerator pedals for the unintended acceleration.
