Water Levels Remain High

Locals are being reminded that water levels remain high. The Thames River Conservation Authority says the watershed is saturated from all of the rain over the last week or so and water levels in rivers, streams, ditches and ponds are above normal though no serious flooding is expected. Residents are once again being reminded that stream banks are very slippery and that water is fast flowing and cold. Reservoirs at Pittock are being used to reduce the effects of flooding downstream.
