Woodstock Police Briefs - Tuesday March 2nd

Woodstock Police briefs include a car theft and several slashed tires in the Sydenham Street and Sloan Street area.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating after several tires were slashed over the weekend.

The vehicles were hit in the area of Sydenham Street and Sloan Street overnight between Saturday and Sunday. At least 31 vehicles were impacted and the damage estimate is around $10,500.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating after a grey 2006 Nissan Altima was stolen in Woodstock.

The car was taken on Sunday afternoon in the area of Fyfe Avenue near Frances Street. The car has a sticker on the back that reads "whipped:. 

The Woodstock Police Service would like to remind the public to never leave your keys in an unattended vehicle even if for a short period of time.
