Two people from Woodstock got quite the scare when they were attacked by a man at their townhouse complex .

Police say the man and woman were walking through the complex when they spotted a man who was screaming obscenities towards them. The suspect pulled out a weapon and attempted to use it on the man. He eventually fled the scene without using the weapon after the woman threatened to call the cops.

31 year old Zachery Ziegler has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, utter death threats and two counts of breach of probation.
