2nd Annual Fall Social
Saturday, October 13th
The Indigenous Advisory Committee in Oxford County will be hosting their second annual fall social gathering, free for all local residents to attend.
Taking place on Saturday, October 13, the event will feature fun and educational activities and experiences that celebrate Indigenous culture in the region. The event will include children’s activities, a drumming performance, food, and refreshments while providing the opportunity to learn more about local Indigenous groups including N’Amerind Friendship Centre, Native Women’s Centre, and local Metis Councils.
This free drop-in event for residents and families will offer perspectives and networking opportunities to learn about Indigenous culture and traditions. Transportation will be available for Oxford residents without access to transportation to the event.
