The total number of cases stands at 38,543 after 138 cases of COVID-19 were reported today. There was also one new death and 34,240 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province confirmed 138 cases of COVID-19 today.
The provincial total now stands at 38,543. 5,884 of the cases involve residents who live in long-term care homes.
There was one new death reported today, which sees the provincial death toll rise to 2,759 and 1,791 of those deaths involve residents living in long-term care facilities and eight of the deaths involve healthcare workers inside long-term care homes.
There were 34,240 resolved cases reported as well.
2,018,813 tests have been completed and 26,078 are currently under investigation.
97 people are in hospital with the virus while 30 of the patients are in ICU. 21 of those patients in ICU are on a ventilator.
