Navy Vets extend their losing streak, Thamesford also loses while Norwich and Wellesley is postponed

The Woodstock Navy Vets have extended their losing streak to 14 after falling 3-1 to Tavistock. Dan Haig scored the only goal for the Navy Vets. 

 
The Navy Vets will host the Norwich Merchants in the 2nd game of this season’s version of “The Battle of Highway 59” series on Tuesday night at Southwood Arena @ 7:45 pm. Norwich won the 1st game 5-3 at Southwood Arena back on October 11.The game will be the annual Teddy Bear Toss night encouraging fans to bring teddy bears or purchase them at the game and throw them on the ice when the Navy Vets score their 1st goal of the game. The bears will be donated to Ingamo and DASO. Admission to the game will be free. 
 
Elsewhere the Thamesford Trojans fell 10 - 4 to Dorchester, while the game between Norwich and Tavistock was postponed due to weather.
