The Woodstock Navy Vets have three playoff games this weekend, including a special matinee on Family Day Monday.
WOODSTOCK - You can spend Family Day weekend with the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They have three crucial games this weekend starting on Friday night at Southwood Arena. Woodstock and Paris split the first two games of their best of seven series over the weekend with the road team winning both games.
Woodstock won game 2 on Saturday night in Paris thanks to goals from Reid Campbell, Tom McFarlane, Chris Thompson and Kyle Walker added a pair. Keaghan Brett had his 2nd straight strong performance making 39 saves in the Vets net.
The puck drop for game 3 on Friday night at Southwood arena is at 7:45pm. Woodstock will then head back to Paris for game 4 on Sunday and they are hosting a special Family Day matinee on Monday for game 5. The game on Monday starts at 1:45 p.m. at Southwood arena.
Minor Hockey Night has always been a big draw for fans and kids and with this being the playoffs might now actually benefit from the cancellation from the original date back in January and the last time a playoff game was held on Family Day it drew over 1500 fans.
