Police have charged 5 people with stunt driving in the past 2 weeks, including 3 drivers who are just 17 years old. The latest driver was doing 126 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
BRANT COUNTY - Brant OPP are reminding motorists, especially young drivers to slow down after issuing 5 stunt driving charges in the past two weeks.
Three of the people charged are just 17 years old, including the most recent offender who was doing 126 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone on Shellard Lane.
Last week police busted a 17 year old with a car full of teens doing 171 km/h on the 403.
In all 5 cases the drivers were charged with stunt driving and had their licence suspended for 7 days and vehicle towed from the scene. The fines for stunt driving can start at $2,000.
