WOODSTOCK - Two local athletes will be added to the Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame.

Amanda Nelson and Alida Kingswood will be inducted alongside six others this fall.

Kingswood is 91-years-old and she broke the lightweight 2,000 metre rowing record for the 90-94 age group at the World Rowing Indoor Championship earlier this year.

The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame is located at the Community Complex and the induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday September 23rd. This will be the first induction ceremony since 2019.

Woodstock City Council approved the addition of Kingswood and Nelson to the list of inductees during last night's meeting.
