Police are warning pet owners to keep a close eye on your dogs while going for walks in the city. This after a pet owner says their dog died from an overdose after going out for a walk in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are asking pet owners to keep a close eye on their animals while out for walks in the city.
A dog passed away last Wednesday after going for a walk in the City. Test results came back showing the dog died after overdosing on drugs.
The pet owner believes the dog consumed the narcotics or drug paraphernalia while out for a walk in Woodstock. Woodstock Police say the owner believes this happened in the downtown area around Canterbury Street. The dog was a 5 year old chihuahua named Tessa.
