INGERSOLL - The Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll is currently accepting donations for their annual Coats for Families drive.
They are looking for donations of new or gently used coats, hats, mitts, boots, snow suits and snow pants to help everyone get through the cold winter months. You can drop off your donations to the Trinity United Church, Young's Pharmacy and any Kiwanis member. They are also accepting cash donations, so that new winter clothing can be purchased.
The Kiwanis Club will be distributing the items to the community starting in November. The first date is on Wednesday November 11th from 9:00 am to noon and then again from 3:30-7:00 pm. The other distribution dates are November 12,13, 18,19 at the same times. This is all happening at the Trinity United Church and they will have one weekend date on Saturday November 14th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions anyone showing up on those dates will need to wear a mask, sanitize, maintain social distancing and a means of contact tracing will be established.
For more information on how to volunteer your time, phone or text the Kiwanis Club at 519-859-5097. You can also send them an email at info@kiwanisingersoll.com or online at www.kiwanisingersoll.com.
