Kids between the ages of 2-11 will exchange five different coloured empty Easter eggs for goodies today.
Thousands of kids between the ages of 2 and 11 will be hunting for empty Easter eggs on the infield of the Woodstock Raceway track today. Manager of Communications and Special Events Brad Janssen says each child must collect five different coloured eggs.
"Take them to one of the depots; one of the tables. Cash your eggs in for a bag of candy and you'll also get a ticket for the many prizes that are going to be drawn from scooters to bicycles. It's going to be a lot of fun!"
Janssen adds there will be a prize suitable for every child demographic.
"We've got different toys for all ages and we have marked them off so that there are boy's prizes, girl's prizes and age appropriate for the different ages that will be represented."
The hunt will get underway 11:30am but people are being encouraged to show up a half hour ahead of time. The prize announcements will be made at a trailer set up by the bleachers after the hunt is finished.
Kids have to bring their own baskets and adults driving are being asked to park in the Civic Centre parking lot. There will be a coned walkway to lead people over to the racetrack.
