One man has died in a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck. The crash happened on Oxford Road 6 near Road 88 in Zorra Township Monday night.
UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Kishen Bissessar of Kitchener.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck.
The late night crash happened around 10:56 p.m. Monday on Oxford Road 6 near Road 88 in Zorra Township.
Police say they have determined that the pickup truck was travelling northbound on Oxford Road 6 when it struck a motorcycle that was in the northbound lane.
The impact claimed the life of the motorcycle driver. The 52 year old male was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, his identity has not been released yet.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Area roads were closed off for eight hours to allow emergency crews to work.
