A Woodstock mother put her detective skills to the test, in order to win in Heart FM's Find Yer Fortune Contest.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock mother is $5,000 richer after in Heart FM's Find Yer Fortune contest.
Over a four week span Heart FM's hosts would announce daily clues to help listeners find the virtual treasure in Oxford County.
Program Director Dan Henry says some of the contestants were very passionate about it.
"We didn't know how long this promo would go on but people were playing along. They actually had charts and maps of where people had guessed, they had the clues up on the board and they were trying to narrow it down and play but we finally go to a winner on the second last day."
Jessica Smith talks about some of the hints that lead her to the old Woodstock Hospital site.
"When it said that there's nothing at the site anymore, nothing but an award which made me think of an award room, old and young and when it was near Northdale School."
Smith was shocked when she won on Thursday and she's still thinking about what to do with the cash.
"I haven't thought about it too much yet but we'll probably plan a family vacation."
Smith was presented with a $5,000 cheque from Gateway Casinos Friday afternoon; which is the largest prize ever given away in a Heart FM contest.
