The Food for Friends program remains the same, however they are switching locations in Ingersoll. Starting on Monday, Operation Sharing will be distributing the food cards to the Trinity United Church.
INGERSOLL - Operation Sharing is moving their Food for Friends location in Ingersoll.
Starting on Monday they will be distributing the food cards to the Trinity United Church. Chaplain and Executive Director Stephen Giuliano explains the move.
"We have been very appreciative of the fact that St. James Anglican Church has provided us space in order to provide Food for Friend food cards for those less fortunate in Ingersoll, as well as provide referrals as needed, so we are very thankful to them for that. Presently St. James Anglican Church in Ingersoll is looking to sell the church, so recognizing that, respecting that, we felt it was time of us to find a new location."
Giuliano says the times will remain the same.
"From 9 am to noon Monday and Wednesday and at times by appointment but it is primarily from 9 am to noon, Monday and Wednesday and we are very thankful to Trinity United Church for being able to provide us the space."
The Woodstock location will remain the same at the College Avenue Church.
