Frost Advisory In Effect

Frost Advisories are issued during the growing season when widespread frost formation is expected over an extensive area and temperatures are expected to fall near freezing in the overnight period. 

OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued the first first Frost Advisory of the season. 

Farmers will be taking measure to protect crops as frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Temperatures are expected to take a drop to near freezing mark tonight.

It is recommended to cover up plants and to take extra preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
