WOODSTOCK - The CPKC Holiday Train is on its way back to Woodstock!
It will be stopping at 199 Winniett Street this Sunday with American Authors and K.T. Tunstall hitting the stage for a free show.
CPKC Spokesperson Terry Cunha says the train will roll in at 6:50 p.m. and head for London at 7:10 p.m.
"You'll have two amazing artists with American Authors and K.T. Tunstall performing some great musical shows. All free for the audience to watch, all we ask is that those coming out to bring a non-perishable food item to provide to their local food bank."
Cunha stresses the importance of bringing that food bank donation.
"We know food insecurity is a major issue across Canada, so we are encouraging those who come out to help a very important cause during the holiday season."
The CPKC Holiday Train has raised over $24-million and over 5.5-million pounds of food for food banks across Canada and the United States since 1999. It will be stopping in 167 communities across seven provinces and 13 U.S. states for it's 26th season, which started on November 21st and ends on December 20th.
