INGERSOLL - If you want chickens in Ingersoll you are going to have to get them from a restaurant or a store because Council has decided to keep the law that bans live chickens within the town's boundaries.
They had received a request to amend a bylaw that was passed in 2016 that prohibited the raising of poultry in town.
The major concern at the time was the possible threat of Avian Flu, a view that the current council sided with in turning down the request.
