Construction is expected to begin this month on the watermain in the north-east corner of Ingersoll. The pressure has loosened up a lot of debris in the past years, so a liner system will be installed to prevent discolouration. Ingersoll's Mayor Ted Comiskey feels for the people having to use this kind of water. "They had some terrible water and it's a sad situation where you should be able to drink the water and wash your clothes in it and look after your children in it and suddenly when you turn on the tap you have colouration into it and that's not good, that's not good at all." The project costs over 1.5 million dollars and will last two years.
