A 28 year old man from London will have to pay an extended Lamborghini rental fee after getting the luxury car impounded for 14 days.
LONDON - A 28 year old from London is going to have to pay an $18,000 impound fee after getting busted stunt driving in a rental car.
Police pulled over the green Lamborghini in Brampton on Wednesday doing 120 km/h in a 60 zone. The driver was charged with stunt driving and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
The car was a rental and Lamborghini rentals don't come cheap. The 28 year old will have to pay for the rental fees for the entire time the vehicle is impounded. The total cost is estimated at $18,000 and that doesn't even include his stunt driving charge, not to mention his new insurance rates.
Cst. Crouse observed this rented Lamborghini being tested out in a Brampton 60km/h zone. Due to the 14 day impoundment fee this rental will now cost this 28 yr/old London Resident $18,000 once it is returned to the rental company. #DriveSmart #Payless #TakeThePledge. pic.twitter.com/7YoMMsmBmS
