The London Police Service is now investigating sexual assault allegations at Western University's Medway-Sydenham Hall.
LONDON - The London Police Service is aware of the information circulating over social media in regards to sexual assault allegations at Western University.
It has not received any formal reports of sexual assault at Medway-Sydenham Hall at this time, but it has opened an investigation into the matter. Officers will be working very closely with the university in hopes of identifying and supporting potential victims.
The London Police Service did receive two reports of sexual assault allegations at other locations on campus the week before and both of those incidents remain under investigation.
Western University recently announced that's going to increase it's on-campus security measures in response to reports of sexual violence over the weekend. You can read more about that online here.
