OXFORD COUNTY - Spending continues but there is a lot less money going into county coffers.
The pandemic has closed many revenue generating facilities and shut down money making events.
Warden Larry Martin says the County made a decision to keep almost all of the staff on board and then made adjustments to working conditions so they can continue to serve the public.
"Expenditures, expenditures and more expenditures, it seems like. And we're going to have to try to deal with that during our next budget session when we start this fall and we'll keep that in the back of our mind going into it as well."
Unlike other municipalities which are making dire financial predictions, Warden Martin says Oxford County is still in pretty good shape.
