UPDATE: The Province says there are 151 new confirmed cases and one more death in Ontario today, bringing the number of active cases up to 1,117 and 19 deaths.
ONTARIO - The province of Ontario has 151 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.
This now brings the number of active cases up to 1,117 and 19 deaths in Ontario after one person died, but lab testing is needed to see if two of those deaths were related to the coronavirus.
All of the cases range in different ages and they're due to travel or they have been in close contact with someone who has the virus.
Earlier this week there was one confirmed case in Oxford County. As of this evening, 8,690 are currently under investigation in Ontario.
43,072 people have been tested in the province with 33,240 coming back negative.
