Another eventful morning commute on the 401 between Ingersoll and Woodstock after a Chevy SUV caught fire
No injuries are being reported after a vehicle caught fire during the morning commute on the 401.
A Chevy SUV hauling a utility trailer experienced an electrical issue as they travelled in the eastbound lanes near the Ingersoll ONRoute. OPP Constable Stacey Culbert says once the driver noticed smoke they were able to safely stop the vehicle and Southwest Oxford Fire services arrived on scene quickly to help quell the flames.
The eastbound lanes were closed for a short time this morning as crews worked but have since reopened.
