Members of the Emergency Response Team assisted the Norfolk/Haldimand Community Street Crime Unit yesterday after they went to a home on Water Street. OPP are also searching for a second person wanted in connection with this incident.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A Norfolk County man was taken into custody after he was arrested by members of the Norfolk/Haldimand Community Street Crime Unit in Simcoe.

38 year-old Derrick Anthony Adams has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause death of bodily harm and three counts of failing to comply with probation order.
He has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
Members of the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit are also searching for a second person wanted in connection with this incident, which took place at a home on West Street.
OPP holds an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Jean Pierre Auclair. He is believed to be heading towards the Brantford and Hamilton area and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
He is described as white, six feet tall, 220 lbs with a medium build with brown hair and hazel eyes.
