The OLG has issued more than $376,000 to the City of Woodstock as part of their first quarter non tax gaming revenue payment.
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued a first quarter non tax gaming revenue payment of just over $376,000 to the City of Woodstock. The OLG issues these payments to the city for hosting one of their casinos at the Woodstock Raceway.
Finance Minister Charles Sousa says these payments benefit communities all across Ontario.
"OLG gaming site revenue allows host municipalities across Ontario to invest in local priorities such as infrastructure, programs and services that help strengthen communities. The people of Ontario also directly benefit from these funds which help support broader public services including health care and education."
The Friendly City has received $16.7 million in non tax gaming revenue from the OLG since June 2001.
