The Time Amendment Act, tabled by Conservative MPP Jeremy Roberts passed a third reading on Wednesday. The Bill will only become law however if Quebec and New York State follow suit.
In a statement Roberts says he will be callling on Quebec and New York to end this outdated practice.
The bill passed with unanimous support. Now the Province will have to wait to see if Quebec and New York follow suit before this bill can officially become law.
