Briefs include a jewellery thief in Tillsonburg and a Commercial Motor Vehicle Blitz that produced 28 charges last week in Norwich and EZT.
TILLSONBURG - Several pieces of jewellery were stolen after a break and enter on Demeyere Avenue in Tillsonburg.
Oxford OPP were called to the home on Wednesday evening. An investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.

EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP teamed up with the Highway Safety Division last week for a Commercial Motor Vehicle initiative.
Officers were stopping commercial vehicles in both Norwich and East Zorra Tavistock last Thursday.
They stopped 28 CMV's, handing out the following Highway Traffic Act charges:
- Expired Annual Inspection
- Improper Class of Licence
- Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle With No Valid CVOR
- No Pre-Trip Inspection Report
- Exceed Registered Gross Weight
Five CMV's were taken out of service during the course of this initiative.
