A few people have found themselves in trouble with the Oxford County OPP.

ZORRA - No one was hurt after police responded to a crash in Zorra Township.

Police say it involved one vehicle on Road 88 at around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and they charged a 27-year-old from Woodstock as a result.

They were charged with careless driving, driving while under suspension, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and driving with liquor readily available.

They also face a 90-day licence suspension, their vehicle has been impounded for a week, and they have a court date in their hometown in the New Year.

SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A single-vehicle collision in South-West Oxford leads to charges.

Oxford OPP responded to Cuthbert Road yesterday at 9:30 p.m. after a vehicle hit a hydro pole and came to rest on the front lawn of a residence.

No injuries were reported, and a 22-year-old South-West Oxford man is facing charges of operation while impaired by alcohol, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

He also had his license suspended for 90 days, along with a 7-day vehicle impoundment.
