Two men are facing charges after Stratford Police caught them with stolen items in the north end of the city.
A park patrol officer spotted the two men carrying two chainsaws and hockey bag full of electrical tools, so they reported it to police.
Officers attended the scene and upon further investigation they realized the items the men had were stolen, believed to be taken from the garages of nearby homes. They were able to identify the items and return them to their rightful owners.
A 37 year old man from Listowel and a 45 year old man from Gadhill have been charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
